6G In India: PM Modi told when 6G technology will be launched in India, know what will be the benefit

A few weeks before the start of 5G services in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a big announcement regarding 6G. PM Modi said that the government is preparing to launch 6G by the end of this decade. The Prime Minister made the announcement during his address at the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2022 through video conferencing.

What did PM Modi say?

In the program, PM Modi said that youth can work on new solutions to promote the use of drone technology in agriculture and health sector. We are preparing to launch 6G by the end of this decade. The government is promoting Indian solutions in gaming and entertainment. The way the government is investing, all the youth should take advantage.

The Prime Minister said that every day new areas and challenges are being explored with innovative solutions. He asked the innovators to find solutions to the issues related to agriculture. He asked the young innovators to take full advantage of initiatives like optical fiber in every village and launch of 5G and boost gaming ecosystem.

5G announcement

Earlier, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav announced the likely date to start 5G services. He assured that in the next two to three years, 5G services will reach all major cities and major rural areas. The government also claims that 5G services will be affordable and accessible.

Meanwhile, telecom providers have started notifying their customers about the commencement of 5G services. Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, Adani Data Network and Vodafone Idea participated in the recently concluded spectrum auction. Jio and Airtel have got the maximum airwaves in this auction.
