9 Years of YJHD: Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani which released in 2013 clocked nine years on Tuesday and everything still feels fresh and relatable. The film, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin, and Aditya Roy Kapur, has struck a chord with audiences. Even though the film was released nine years ago on this day, it still feels fresh out of the oven every time it gets broadcasted on TV or binged on an OTT platform.

The film defined friendships, relationships, the wanderlust heart and most importantly how to hold onto life. While the film feels like it was released yesterday, a lot changed in the lives of the Star Cast, especially in their personal lives and relationship statuses.

Ranbir Kapoor the Kabir "Bunny" Thapar

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika showed a strong chemistry on-screen despite having personal differences and a breakup. In 2013, Ranbir was dating Katrina and they were together for nearly six years. Checking on the life update, Ranbir is now hitched with Alia Bhatt and all set for the release of their film Brahmastra: Part One. Interestingly, the film was also the cupid of their love. 

Point to be noted that Ranbir’s ex’s Deepika and Katrina also got married and are happy with their hubbies. 

Deepika Padukone the Dr. Naina Talwar

DP has achieved a lot in the past 9 years. From back to back hits like Chennai Express, Bajirao Mastani, Piku, Padmaavat, the actress literally became the queen of Bollywood. Not to forget her success overseas. She also got love of her life and got hitched to Ranveer Singh in 2018. She also became the first Indian actor to sit as the Jury in the International Film Festival of Cannes. 

Kalki Koechlin the Aditi Mehra Khanna

Kalki got married to Anurag Kashyap in 2011, and the couple got divorced in 2015. On September 30, 2019, Koechlin confirmed her pregnancy with her boyfriend, Israeli musician Guy Hershberg. Sappho, their daughter, was born via water birth on February 7, 2020.

Aditya Roy Kapur the Avinash "Avi" Shiv

He also bangged big films inlcuding Kalank, Daawat-e-Ishq, Fitoor and OK Jaanu. While he has been away from controversies and not much is open about his love life. 

Evelyn Sharma the Lara Khanna

On September 30, 2019, Koechlin confirmed her pregnancy with her boyfriend, Israeli musician Guy Hershberg.  Sappho, their daughter, was born via water birth on February 7, 2020.
