Who is Ahaan Panday?

Ahaan Panday is Chikki and Deanne Panday’s son. His sister, Alanna Panday, is a prominent content creator and social media influencer.  He is also the nephew of Chunky and Bhavna Pandey. He is the cousin of Bollywood actress Ananya Panday and her sister Rysa.

Ahaan attended the University of Mumbai and the Oberoi International School, where he discovered his interest in filmmaking at a young age. To prepare for his own directing career, he worked as an assistant director on films including Freaky Ali (2016), Rock On 2 (2016), and the critically acclaimed series The Railway Men (2023).

Faced Backlash for Mimicking SRK 

In June 2023, Ahaan drew flak after a video of him mimicking Shah Rukh Khan’s passionate “ek tarfa pyaar” monologue from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil went viral.  While he most likely intended it as an homage, social media critics labelled it “cringe” and “forced,” citing nepotism as the cause for his success.

Saiyaara Trailer, Release Date

Saiyaara is a romance movie directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, due to be released on July 18, 2025. The trailer provides a gripping preview of the film’s strong romance storyline. The film stars Ahaan Panday as Krish Kapoor, a young and promising singer, and Aneet Padda as a skilled songwriter who writes lyrics for his songs. As the story progresses, the two characters have a strong emotional connection. However, their relationship takes a surprising and dramatic turn when Aneet’s character exhibits a darker, more dangerous side, confronting Krish with a knife and demanding that he leave the event, adding tension and suspense to their affair.
