Ajmer Floods: Villages, Hospitals Submerged, Heavy Rainfall Wreaks Havoc in The City

Ajmer Floods: Heavy rains in Rajasthan have severely impacted the city of Ajmer. The area surrounding Khwaja Garib Nawaz Dargah has been waterlogged, causing significant inconvenience for pilgrims seeking darshan. Apart from this, Ajmer’s Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital has been submerged. Many beds and operating rooms at the hospital have been flooded, posing significant complications for patients and their families.

23 People Died So Far

Heavy rains have also impacted life in other parts of Rajasthan, including Pushkar, Bundi, and Kota, and flood-like conditions have emerged in several locations. The administration has urged the public to remain cautious. Schools were closed in Kota, Baran, Jhalawar, Ajmer, Bundi, Rajsamand, and Nagaur on Saturday. In the previous four days, 23 people have died in Rajasthan due to rain-related incidents.
