So, let’s dive into the asanas and how to perform these asanas to get the most out of these asanas and keep our bodies fit.

1. Dhanushasan (Bow Pose): 

Lie down on your stomach and place both your feet on your hips holding them with both of your hands, left hand holding the left feet, and right one holding the right feet respectively, as shown in the video. Now slowly breathe in and start raising your body upwards from the fore and rare ends and hold the pose for 10-15 seconds.

The Dhanushasan (the bow pose) helps your body improve digestion and also tones your muscles.

2. Setubandhasan (Bridge Pose):

Lie down while facing upwards (towards sky/ceiling) with your hands straight. Bring your feet close to your hips, and slowly start raising your body from the middle and let your hands rest straight, as shown in the video. Hold the pose for 10-15 seconds and then release.

The Setubandhasan (the Bridge pose) improves thyroid levels and digestion in your body.

3. Virbhadrasan (Warrrior Pose):

For Virbhadrasan Pose 1, stand in Tadasana yoga posture and spread both your legs 3 to 3.5 feet. Now raise both your hands up, that is, keep them parallel to the ground. Take the palms of both your hands above your head and join them together while rotating the toes of your right foot at an angle of 90 degrees and the toes of the left foot at 45 degrees. Now keeping your feet fixed, only rotate the upper body in the direction of the right toes, and in this position, your mouth will also rotate 90 degrees in the direction of the right toe. Following this, bend your right leg from here on the knee and make a 90-degree angle on it. In this position, the thigh of your right leg will be parallel to the floor and the left leg will be completely straight, now tilt your head back and look at the sky. Hold the position for 10 to 15 seconds, and then come back to your starting position.

For Virbhadrasana Pose 2, stand in Tadasana yoga posture and spread both your legs, and keep a gap of 3 to 3.5 feet between both feet. Now straighten both your hands so that both your hands are parallel to the ground. Rotate the toes of your right foot at an angle of 90 degrees and rotate the toes of the left foot 45 degrees and turn your head in the direction of your right hand and look forward. After this, bend your right leg from here on the knee and make a 90-degree angle on it. While holding this position, the thigh of your right leg will be parallel to the floor and the left leg should be completely straight. Hold the position for 10 to 15 seconds, and then come back to your starting position and then repeat the same process with the other leg.

4. Trikonasan (Triangle Pose):

Stand straight and open your leg wide with your hands lifted up at the level of your soldiers, as shown in the video. Now slowly tilt on the right side holding your right leg, while keeping your left hand straight going upwards. While performing Trikonasana, keep your face upwards. Repeat the process for the other side.

Trikonasana helps reduce the fat deposited on your belly and your waist.

5. Utkatasan (Chair Pose):

Stand straight, and slowly bend down while keeping your thighs parallel to the ground, as if you are sitting on a chair, hold the pose for 10 to 15 seconds. While performing Utkatasan, keep your hands straight and your hips out, as shown in the video. 

Utkatasan helps tone your legs and burn belly fat.
