Shalini Pandey, a well known name in the South Indian film industry including Tamil & Telugu films is nowadays busy headlining her first Bollywood debut opposite Ranveer Singh in the upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaaar. In a statement Shalini described how happy she was for bagging the role of YRF’s production and said “ “It was sheer luck that I got noticed and I can’t thank the universe enough. I was at a restaurant one day with a friend of mine and there was Shanoo, YRF’s casting director” , later she bumped into her again at a different restaurant and once while she was going through her Instagram chats she received a message and later got a call from the YRF team.

Born on 23rd September 1993 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Shalini’s father is a government employee whereas her mother is a homemaker. She also has a younger sibling, her sister Pooja Pandey.
