Cannes 2022: Aishwarya Rai choose this desi designer over Sabyasachi for the red carpet; know who is he

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan the queen of Runway and a sight to behold at every Cannes Red carpet is currently busy stopping the traffic while blowing kisses doing Cannes walk in France. Aishwarya made several heads turn during the whole day 2 at Cannes walking in Maison Valentino and Dolce Gabbana but,for day 3 at the biggest film festival she ditched the infamous Sabyasachi design and went for a new designer. None other than Gaurav Gupta.

At the 75Th edition of Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her second red carpet appearance. Aish graced the premiere of Oscar Isaac's Armageddon Time on Thursday, wearing a pleated, sculpted gown in designer Gaurav Gupta's hallmark style. The floor length gown catches the attention with it’s elegance with an array of royalty using silver linings, sparkles and a beautiful neckline which goes up to the slightly puffed sleeves and then form a dramatic back. Aishwarya Rai's dress included a design element that came up from the shoulders and generated an aura behind her.

Aishwarya Rai wears Gaurav Gupta for Cannes day 3

Gaurav Gupta, a renowned Indian couture designer, established his own line in 2004. Gaurav Gupta went to Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London. His designs are well-known for their dramatic sculpture-like qualities. Lines, flowing textiles, and geometric shapes. The dress looked so fulfilling on the Cannes queen Aishwarya that she accessorized the outfit with minimal jewelry.

For Day 2 at Cannes Aishwarya dazzled in Italian fashion luxury. For the first look she went for Maison Valentino's hot pink Pantsuit worth Rs. 4 Lakh and for the next round she went for Dolce Gabbana’s Black flowery gown with 3D Flowers.
