Disha Parmar Biography

Disha Parmar is a popular Television actress and model who got her fame on small screens through Star Plus’s serial Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. Disha played the female lead role of Pankhuri opposite television actor Nakul Mehta. Disha also played the main role in  Zee TV's popular show Woh Apna Sa.

Disha Parmar Family and Education

Born and brought up in Delhi, India, Disha was born on November 11, 1992, to Ashok Parmar and Geeta Parmar. Her father is an employee in a multinational company in Delhi while her mother is a homemaker. Disha also has a younger brother named Gaurav Parmar. 

Disha did her schooling at Sadhu Vaswani International School Delhi and is an alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi. 

Disha Parmar in Pyar Ka Dard Hai

Before debuting on television, Disha worked at a Delhi-based company 'Elite Model Management India Pvt. Ltd' and organised the auditions for Rajshri Productions. Later she also gave her auditions for Star Plus’s show Pyar Ka Dard Hai and got the role of Pankhuri at the age of 17. 

Along with the serial, Disha continued working for ads and commercials and followed her career in the entertainment industry. 

Disha Parmar in Woh Apna Sa

In the year 2017, Disha again got the lead role in Zee Tv’s show Woh Apna Sa and played the role of Jhanvi/Jia. She even became the Most Loved TV Actress in 2017 after this show.
