Galwan Valley Clash: Deepak Singh's wife, who was martyred in Galwan Valley, is thus fulfilling her husband's wish

Rekha Singh is continuing her husband's tradition by joining the Indian Army as a lieutenant. She is one of the 40 ladies who will be present at the Officers Training Academy's pass out parade on April 29 in Chennai. The Chinese People's Liberation Army and the Indian Army engaged in combat in June 2020 in eastern Ladakh's Galvan Valley. which resulted in the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers. Deepak Singh was also a martyr among them.

After graduating from the Officers Training Academy, Rekha Singh was enlisted in the Indian Army. His family members were present when this was happening. Lieutenant Rekha Singh said of joining the Indian Army, "After the passing of my husband, I chose to join the Indian Army and started training for it.  I have finished my training as of today, and I am now a lieutenant. In an interview with the news agency ANI, she expressed her pride and gave the following advice to all female candidates: "Have faith in yourself and do what you want to do without thinking about others."
