Fantasy Gaming App: Sub Inspector Somnath Jhende of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate in Pune, Maharashtra, formed a team and won Rs 1.5 crore on the Dream Eleven app. As soon as Somnath shared the news of winning such a huge amount on social media, the information reached the police department, and authorities ordered an inquiry. Police officials are now investigating whether or not any government person is permitted to participate in such activities.
Sub Inspector Somnath Jhende allegedly revealed that he has been playing fantasy cricket for the previous 2-3 months by building a team on Dream Eleven. However, in the match between Bangladesh and England, Somnath’s second team remained at number one, and soon Somnath noticed on his mobile that his team was number one and had won Rs 1.5 crore.
