Heeramandi’s cast Manisha Koirala, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal opens about their role in the series

Heeramandi cast Interview: Cast members of the Heeramandi by Sanjay Leela Bhansali shared the motivations of their characters in the series. Manisha Koirala is essaying the role of Mallikajan, the huzoor with Shermin Segal as Alamzeb and Sanjeeda Sheikh as Waheeda. 

What derives the women of Heeramandi? 

Dwelling upon the motivation of her character, Koirala shared that she is power-hungry “boss lady” as Mallikajan. Segal’s character on the other hand is driven by love, while Sheikh’s role is full of passion. Power, love and passion derives from the women of Heeramandi.
