Himachal Cloudburst: Heavy Rain Expected In Several Districts, 98 Died Due To Monsoon Destruction

Himachal Weather:  The monsoon is wreaking havoc in Himachal Pradesh, with heavy rainfall worsening daily life and infrastructure in the state. The India Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy downpour in Shimla, Solan, and Sirmaur in the coming days, with Una, Bilaspur, Kangra, Mandi, and Kullu on 17th and 18th July. 

Mandi has received 91% more rainfall than normal, causing widespread destruction and loss of life. 98 people have died since the monsoon hit the district, with 178 injured, and 34 missing. The state has experienced 31 flash floods, 22 cloudbursts, and 18 landslides, causing extensive damage to infrastructure.
