Holi 2025: The festival of Holi is celebrated on the full moon day of the Phalgun month of the Hindu calendar annually. This year, Holi falls on 14 March, which means that Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi will occur on the night of 13 March; however, the same day is under the inauspicious shadow of Bhadra or ‘Bhadra saya’. No auspicious actions are performed under this hour, implying that there will only be a short window of time to do the Holika Dahan on Thursday.
The Bhadra saya will begin at 10:35 AM and conclude at 11:26 PM; therefore, the shubh muhurat to perform the Holika Dahan will be possible only from 11:26 PM to 12:30 PM on 14 March.
