Hyundai's first vehicle to use the E-GMP BEV platform is the Ioniq 5. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is powered by a permanent synchronous motor coupled to a 72.6kWH battery pack. 216 horsepower and 350 Nm of maximum torque are sent to the rear wheels using a single-speed transmission. It has an ARAI-certified range of 631 kilometers on a single charge and can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350kW DC charger.
The interior of the vehicle features two 12.3-inch screens, one for the instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system with navigation. Other features include ventilated front seats, Level 2 ADAS, power seats, climate control, eight premium Bose speakers, ambient sounds of nature, and the vehicle-to-load function (V2L), which is activated by a power outlet on the side of the vehicle. Eight Bose premium speakers, Level 2 ADAS, power seats, climate control, and more are also included.
