International Stars in Indian Outfit: When it comes to donning gorgeous and embellished outfits, there’s nothing more elegant than Indian attire, from gracious sarees to solid and chic men kurtas. The grand Indian wedding of billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant witnessed many international sensations grooving to Bollywood songs, and wearing traditional Indian outfits. From ‘Despacito’ singer Luis Fonsi, wrestler John Cena, to Kim Kardashian, everyone looked surreal in wearing the culture of India in their ways. This is not only the first time when international celebs were seen embracing Indian outfits. Kim & Khloe Kardashian

The very first name has to be the Kardashian sisters, who looked exquisite wearing lehenga at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. The sisters arrived in Mumbai on 11 July to attend the big fat Indian wedding that included all the famous personalities and dignitaries, including former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blaire, among others. While Kim wore a sultry red lehenga, Khloe sizzled in a golden lehenga. 

Princess Diana

The late Princess Diana, the first wife of British King Charles, continues to hold the title of 90s fashion icon. While Princess Diana wore famous international designs, she had a special fondness for Indian outfits. Diana wore a Ritu Kumar salwar suit during her 1997 India and Pakistan tour. 

Sophie Turner

Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas’ ex-wife and ‘Game of Thrones’ actress, looked stunning in a couple of Indian outfits at her sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' wedding in India. Sophie chose a heavily embroidered Sabyasachi Mukherjee lehenga for one of the celebrations.

Beyonce

Beyonce stunned everyone at Isha Ambani’s wedding in 2018 with her first-ever performance in India. For one of the ceremonies, she wore an Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla blue and pink lehenga with threadwork.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga performed at the 2011 Formula One after-party. The pop singer chose a cream-coloured saree gown by Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani. Her outfit was embellished with Swarovski crystals, and she looked stunning as always. 

Madonna

Madonna once wore an electric blue silk saree to India, looking stunning while showing off her Sanskrit tattoos and accessorizing with silver oxidized jewellery.
