Internet Slams Swara Bhaskar For ‘Hypocrisy’ As She Meets Maulana Sajjad Nomani

Swara Bhaskar Trolled:  Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar is the target of internet trolls yet again after her meeting with the former head of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), Maulana Sajjad Nomani, on Saturday. 

Bhasker, who has previously advocated for women’s education and rights vocally, was called out for her ‘hypocrisy’ as she posed with a leader who has opposed standard education for women. 

The photos of the meeting were shared by her politician husband Fahad Ahmad on X with the caption  “In the service of Maulana Sajjad Nomani, and he showered us with love and blessings,” and the internet was soon to be divided for calling out Bhaskar’s double standards. Some even trolled her for wearing a dupatta over her head or not opting for a burqa.
