Iran-Israel War: Iran’s senior Shia cleric has released a “fatwa,” or religious edict, describing US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “enemies of Allah.” Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi issued a fatwa, urging Muslims worldwide to band together and depose American and Israeli leaders who pose a threat to the Islamic Republic’s leadership.

Fatwa Against Trump and Netanyahu

Grand Ayatollah Naser Makram Shirazi, Iran’s senior Shia cleric, also called for the destruction of American and Israeli leaders for endangering the Islamic Republic’s authority. According to the media, Makram stated in his decree that, “Any person or government that threatens the leader or Marja (Allah) is considered a warlord or Mohareb.”
