Jawan Box Office Collection Day 26: Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Crosses Rs 1000 Cr Worldwide

Jawan BO Collection:  Shah Rukh Khan is effortlessly dominating the box office charts without any stoppage in the success of his latest film ‘Jawan’, which is continuously collecting a surplus amount since Day 1. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the film performed well on the fourth weekend, almost equivalent to what other movies earn in their first week. Jawan has topped the domestic market with a total of Rs 611 Cr, making it the first Hindi film to break the Rs 600 crore barrier in India and the largest Hindi film of all time. Jawan is presently the second-highest-grossing Hindi film in the world, earning Rs 1100 Cr globally, with Aamir Khan’s Dangal still on top.

Jawan Box Office Collection Worldwide

Jawan added a staggering Rs 22 crore throughout India in its fourth weekend, with a national occupancy of 34% for its Hindi version on day 26, while the Tamil and Telugu versions had mostly discontinued the distribution. If we compare the action thriller with this week’s new releases, Fukrey 3 and The Vaccine War, both movies made Rs 54 crore and Rs 7 crore in four days of release, respectively. Jawan has set new records for the biggest opening day, weekend, and week for a Hindi film. It was also the fastest Hindi film to reach the Rs 100 crore, Rs 200 crore, Rs 300 crore, Rs 400 crore, and Rs 500 crore milestones. With this, Shah Rukh Khan is the first Bollywood star to have two films grossing more than Rs 1000 crores in a single year, Pathan and Jawan.

A Look At Bollywood in 2023

This year, many blockbuster movies have already made the audience get their hopes back on Bollywood after almost more than a year of the Bollywood Boycott trend. Lately, people have been losing interest in Hindi Cinema because of the same or no storyline in most of the movies, even Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was unable to make an impact on the audience. Movies like Shehzada, Selfie, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, and many more didn’t do any good for the industry. At the same time, movies like Adipurush played a major role in deteriorating the image of Hindi cinema. The movie faced heavy backlash because of its disrespectful dialogues and very bad script writing. But, thanks to movies like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, Pathan, and Jawan that took the baton of bringing the Bollywood industry back on track.
