‘Jurassic World 4’ to get a 2025 release; David Leitch to direct the fourth installment

Jurrasic World 4: The fourth installment of the Jurrasic Park will be released next year. Bullet Train director David Leitch is to helm the yet-untitled project. The movie is slated to release on 2 July, 2025.

Universal Pictures continues its association with the dinosaur franchise. The final draft for the upcoming installment will be written by David Koepp, who was also behind the screenwriting of the final draft of Jurassic Park (1990) and “the Lost World: Jurrasic Park”. Amblin Entertainment will be backing the movie with Steven Speilberg as the executive producer along with Frank Marshal, Patrick Crowley, and Kelly McCormick of 87North.

Per the reports, the new movie will be venturing into the “new Jurrasic era”. However, the journey of some characters as a member of the Jurrasic World franchise played by, Chris Patt, Bryce Dallas, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum might not continue. 

The Jurrasic World Saga 

Jurrasic World is a fantasy movie series based on Michael Crichton’s novel Jurassic Park. the original "Jurassic Park".  The first installment of the Jurassic Park series hit the theaters in 1993 with a unique premise of ‘Dinosaur theme park’ where adventure turned awry when the giant dinos started going astray. The subsequent movies are also regarded as the landmark for visual effects and computer-generated imagery. 

The films directed by Steven Spielberg since June 1993, have been incredibly successful, earning over $6 billion worldwide across its six films. "Jurassic World Dominion," released in 2022, continued this success by surpassing $1 billion at the global box office. The enduring popularity of the franchise demonstrates its lasting appeal to audiences around the world. 

Speilberg also revealed that Godzill has been his inspiration which was his childhood watch, becoming the most financially successful movie for Speilberg.
