Kalki 2898 AD Early Predictions:  Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD has now hit the theaters worldwide. Being one of the most expensive films ever made in India, the initial reception of the movie has been phenomenal per the early box office trends of the film. Sacnilk, a platform providing Box Office Collection for All Indian Movies is expecting that the movie will touch the Rs. 200 crore mark worldwide on its opening day.  

Kalki Eyeing 200-crore Opening Day Collection 

A pan-India movie starring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, Kalki 2898 AD has earned around Rs. 32.97 crores so far on its first day for all languages per the live updated data of Sacnilk. 

Having been released in Telugu and Hindi with dubbed versions of Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English the movie has the highest occupancy in Telugu which is 86% on Thursday.

The highest number of advance tickets have been booked in Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Per Sacnilk data, the gross advance booking of the film has been strong at Rs. 55 crore with expectations of getting higher as the movie stays in theaters. Out of the total of Rs. 55 crore, 44 crore has been minted by the Telugu version of the film. 

Most Expensive Ticket Sold at Rs. 2,300 

Meanwhile, the most expensive ticket price for the Nag Ashwin movie has been Rs 2,300, at Maison INOX at Jio World Plaza in BKC, Mumbai. The average range of the ticket price in the city varies from Rs.120 to Rs. 2,300 as quoted by film distributor Akshay Rathi.

Set in the 29th century, the movie draws on the prophesied Kalki, the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishu. The epic-saga is a blend of Puranic concepts and futuristic advances with first-of-its-kind VFX making it a charming attraction for the audience.  

The movie took four years to complete and posits as director Nag Ashwin's magnum opus. Ahead of the release, the makers of the movie also urged the audience to keep the integrity of the makers and actor’s hard work by not using piracy to watch the movie. Made on a budget of Rs. 600 crore, Kalki 2898 AD hold the record for most expensive film in the Indian cinema.
