Lady Gaga Rio Concert: Brazil Police Thwart Bomb Attack, 2 Arrested

World News:  Brazilian police say that they have thwarted a bomb attack planned for the free concert of global pop star Lady Gaga at the Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.

The police revealed that the attack was planned by a teenager and an adult mastermind who had also enlisted others online to carry out the attack in an event boasting of 2.5 million people in the audience. 

The reason for their bomb attack was sheer online fame and virality. The goal was to get notoriety on social media for a few million views. The police have arrested the adult mastermind and have taken the teenager into custody as well.
