Maha Kumbh 2025: Key Crowd Management Measures Introduced At Prayagraj Junction After The Stampeded in Delhi

Maha Kumbh 2025: After the recent stampede at the New Delhi Railway station with 18 casualties of the devotees boarding the train en route to Prayagraj, a sudden surge of devotees led to chaos late at night at the Prayagraj Junction. 

In the wake of the stampede, the railway authorities have temporarily closed the station entry and introduced key changes in crowd management. 

To prevent the situation like stampede again the authorities have diverted the crowds towards Khusro Bagh with additional trains deployed to clear the congestion. The measures helped in further controlling the crowd within half an hour.
