Mahindra Automotive has unveiled the Rall-E electric SUV concept in the Indian market. The renowned Indian automaker Mahindra officially unveiled its eagerly anticipated Mahindra BE 05, BE 05 RALL E, and XUV.e series at an event in Hyderabad. Based on the INGLO platform, which Mahindra and Volkswagen jointly created, the BE 05 RALL E concept SUVs are built. Mahindra’s BE sub-brand will have only EVs in its lineup, starting with the BE 05 SUV launching around October 2025. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
Long-range battery choices for the BE 05 will have capacities of up to 80kWh, providing a range of up to 450km. The SUV will also be capable of 175kW of quick charging. The Mahindra INGLO platform, which shares some components with Volkswagen's MEB modular electric toolkit, serves as the foundation for the Rall-E SUV. This all-electric vehicle (EV) platform allows for both dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) and rear-wheel drive (RWD) EV powertrains. A new metallic with a noticeable tow hook, skid plate, and inset round headlamps was used to remodel the complete front bumper, including the LED DRLs. In contrast, the BE.05's gloss cladding was swapped out for a matt silver finish, and the sills also had additional underneath covers to give them a more tough off-road appearance.
