Manipur Violence: For the past two months, Manipur has been experiencing violent turmoil, with no visible government intervention in the state. The situation turned brutal and devastating  when a viral video depicted a distressing incident of two women being publicly humiliated by a group of men. In response to this alarming development, Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a phone conversation to address the issue. While the whole nation is burning with anger, seeking justice. 

As per the Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, the Manipur Police took prompt action and made the first arrest based on their own initiative as soon as the video was reported. Further he claimed that a detailed investigation is underway, and the authorities are committed to ensuring that all offenders face severe punishment, including the possibility of the death penalty. Furthermore, Chief Minister Biren Singh revealed that the main offender was arrested last night at approximately 1:30 am.
