Modi Call To Trump:  In a late-night phone conversation between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump, the PM highlighted that Trump offered no talk of mediation between India and Pakistan during the conflict between the two countries.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri briefed the media on Wednesday. He stated, “PM Modi stressed India has never accepted mediation, does not accept it, and will never accept it. There is complete political unanimity in India on this.”

The statement comes in light of Trump’s constant claims of resolving the conflict between India and Pakistan over the issue of Pakistan's illegal occupation of parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
