Monkeyman Trailer

Monkeyman is a revenge tale by Oscar-nominated Dev Patel, who is a rogue vigilante on a vengeance spree. Patel is a man on his quest for vengeance fighting against the corrupt leaders whose systemic suppression and dominance became the reason for her mother’s murder. Defending the banner of good over evil, fighting ‘fire and terror’ Patel’s character is a savior aligning with the principles of the ‘white monkey’, a mythic legend he heard of from his mother defending the deprived and powerless. His mother’s move and her eventual killing are her driving force amidst the intense class hierarchy.

Monekyman’s trailer is packed with slit throats and intense rage in the atmosphere of bloody kitchen tops, bestial ring fights, and allusions to Indian mythology.

Sobhita Dhulipala’s Hollywood Debut

Sobhita Dhulipala will be debuting in Hollywood with ‘Monekyman’ sharing screens with Patel. She has made a mark as a versatile actor by portraying a diverse and intense range of emotions through her characters. Tara from ‘Made in Heaven’ is probably the most loved grey woman character in contemporary Hindi cinema. She was last seen in the Indian-Tamil epic historical drama, PS-II  and her avatar of Vannathi made many headlines. With Monkeyman, she is again raising the curiosity and hopes of her admirers but also writing a testament to her versatility and merit as an actor.
