New Farmer Scheme: The central and state governments are constantly implementing plans to help farmers. Keeping this in mind, the Madhya Pradesh government has launched a new agricultural welfare initiative in which farmers will receive Rs 4,000 per hectare directly into their bank accounts. Rice farmers will also earn a bonus of Rs 275 per quintal over the base price of Rs 2,425 per hectare, for a total estimated benefit of Rs 488 crores in the state. Those who have met the criteria for the production scheme will be paid accordingly.
Wheat farmers would also receive a bonus of Rs 275 per quintal, with the government anticipating a total wheat yield of 80 lakh metric tonnes this year. The state would provide around Rs 1,400 crore to support this initiative. Farmers who want the benefit of the Chief Minister’s Scheme must complete the KYC process within the required timeframe. These financial incentives showcase the government’s commitment to ensuring farmer prosperity and increasing agricultural productivity in Madhya Pradesh.
