Operation Sindoor: India launched Operation Sindoor in the early hours of Wednesday, a retaliatory attack on the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, gunning down twenty-six people. 

Operation Sindoor has been applauded and appreciated as justice to the victims of the Pahalgam killings. From celebrities to political leaders, everyone is extending their support to the Indian defense forces for their achievements, and praising the well-execution of the strategically targeted mission that took down nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. 

Home Minister Amit Shah to film superstar Allu Arjun have voiced their gratitude and support to the armed forces on their social media handles. 

Political Leaders’ Reactions To Operation Sindoor 

Political leaders from the ruling party as well as the Opposition party, including Home Minister Amit Shah, Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, have all hailed the Indian Armed Forces and Indian Air Force. 

Home Minister Amit Shah penned a note in support of the BJP’s leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on X, writing, “Proud of our armed forces. #OperationSindoor is Bharat’s response to the brutal killing of our innocent brothers in Pahalgam. The Modi government is resolved to give a befitting response to any attack on India and its people. Bharat remains firmly committed to eradicating terrorism from its roots.” 

Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi expressed pride in the Armed Forces on X, noting, “Proud of our Armed Forces. Jai Hind!”

Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar condemned Pakistan’s support to terrorism, tweeting, “The world must show zero tolerance for terrorism.” 

Celebrities’ Reaction To Operation Sindoor 

Indian celebrities across the industry stood in solidarity with the Indian forces and the victims of the Pahalgam attack on social media. 

Actor turned politician, Kangana Ranaut, took to her X saying, “OPERATION SINDOOR: ZERO TOLERANCE TO TERROR …The Indian Armed Forces launched a precision mission, Operation Sindoor; 9 terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir neutralized.”
