Oscars 2023: From performances to presenters; check out the list here

The 2023 Oscars, undoubtedly the biggest entertainment event, will telecast on Sunday, March 12, bringing the award season to an end. Viewers have a lot to look forward to this year, from Rihanna’s musical performance and Jimmy Kimmel’s return to hosting to Michelle Yeoh and Cate Blanchett competing for best actress. After the slap incident, the Oscars had a crisis team assembled in the aftermath of the incident.

The Oscars will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 12 (Monday, March 13, 6.30 am). Live coverage of the event will be available on the official website of ABC and the ABC app.

Jimmy Kimmel to host Oscars 2023

Jimmy Kimmel, the late-night host, will host the Oscars for the third time this year. His last hosting gig was in 2018, which also happened to be the last time the Oscars had a solo host.

Deepika to present Oscars 2023

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be one of the celebrities presenting at the 95th Academy Awards. The actress simply captioned the post, "#oscars#oscars95."

Deepika took to Instagram to share a post with all of the presenters’ names, which include Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Troy Kotsur, Dwayne Johnson, Jennifer Connelly, Samuel L. Jackson, Melissa McCarthy, Zoe Saldana, Donnie Yen, Jonathan Majors, and Questlove. 

Naatu Naatu performing at oscars

At the Oscars ceremony in 2023, all of the Best Original Song nominees' songs will be played live.

Here is  the performers' list:

The Academy has announced that Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava will perform “Naatu Naatu” from SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” live on the Oscars stage.

“Lift Me Up” by Rihanna from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will be performed.

“Applause” from “Tell It Like a Woman” will be performed by Sofia Carson and Diane Warren.

The song “This Is a Life” from “Everything Everywhere All at Once” will be performed by supporting actress nominee Stephanie Hsu, David Byrne, and Son Lux.

The performer for “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick” (perhaps Lady Gaga) and the sombre "In Memoriam" part is still unknown.
