Pakistan Train Hijack Update: An explosion shook a mosque in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, injuring JUI district chief Abdullah Nadeem and three others, according to police reports. According to reports, the explosion occurred at 1:45 p.m. on the Azam Warsak Bypass Road at Maulana Abdul Aziz Mosque and was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) placed in the mosque’s pulpit.
Abdullah Nadeem, a senior JUI official, was seriously injured in the attack, while three other JUI members—Rehmanullah, Mullah Noor, and Shah Behran—suffered minor injuries, police said in a statement. All victims were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
