December 2024 Bollywood Release:  The last month of the year approaches with a bag full of the most-awaited films set to hit the theaters. The highly anticipated sequel of the pan India chartbuster starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, ‘Pushpa 2’ is due in December 2024, Varun Dhawan’s action thriller awaits a release along with many expected film releases. The cinema is going to have a busy month ahead. 

Pushpa 2: The Rule  

Release Date: 5 December 2024 

Cast: Allu Arjun,  Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 begins from where it left. Allu Arjun in the titular role of Pushpa is revenge-hungry after the loss of his brother and mother while espacing the claws of SP Shekawat played by Fahad Fassil with the help of his wife Srivalli aka Rashmika Mandanna and Kesava essayed by Jagadeesh Prathap. 

Zero Se Restart

The prequel to the 2023 mega-hit ‘12th Fail’, the film is helmed and bankrolled by Vidhu Vinod Chopra portrays the challenges and behind-the-scenes chronicles of making ‘12th Fail’. The film is a unique feature film in the Indian film industry following the journey from the inception to the success of the 2023 film. 

Badass Ravikumar

Cast: Himesh Reshamiyan, Prabhu Deva and Soniya 

Himesh Reshamiyan has directed, produced, and starred in this high-octane thriller film continuing the franchise of his 2014 film ‘The Xpose’. Reshmaiyan returns to his role of Ravi Kumar with a spin-off against ten villains. 

Vanvaas 

Release Date: 20 December 2024

Cast: Nana Patekar, Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur 

From the director of hits like Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Apne, Anil Sharma, Vanvaas is an emotional family drama set in Varanasi revolving around the relationship of a son and an aging father suffering from dementia. The trailer hints at the tragic theme of children abandoning their parents in their old age.

Welcome To The Jungle

Cast: Akshay Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani

The third installment in the ‘Welcome’ film franchise of Nadiadwala, Welcome To The Jungle is directed by Ahmed Khan and promises three times the entertainment in this action comedy where Police officers Jay Bakshi and Sandhya are on a mission to track down Criminal Raj Solanki.

Cast: Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff 

The Bollywood adaptation of the Tamil Film ‘Theri’ by Atless, Baby John is directed by Kalees. The film revolves around the life of a DCP living a peaceful life with his daughter after his years of service. But his past has to catch up with him putting his daughter’s life in danger. 

Excitement is high as Bollywood has us all waiting with batted eyes for the release of this much-awaited film.
