Raksha Bandhan 2025: Raksha Bandhan is celebrated on the full moon of the month of Shravan in the Hindu Vedic calendar. This year, the full moon will begin at 2:18 PM on 8 August and end at 1:24 PM on 9 August. However, due to the Bhadra Kaal from 2:12 PM on August 8 until 1:52 AM on August 9, no auspicious actions, such as tying the rakhi, should be performed.

Hence, Raksha Bandhan rituals can be performed from 9 August after the Bhadra period has ended. The most auspicious time to tie the rakhi on your brother’s wrist is from 5:21 AM to 1:24 PM.
