Rangeen Review: The new web series ‘Rangeen’ on Amazon Prime Video, which stars Viineet Kumar Singh, Rajshri Deshpande, and Taaruk Raina, delivers an original and emotionally complex tale. The narrative is sharp and poignant, and the filmmakers have carefully addressed the difficult subject of male sexuality and self-worth. Tanika Bhattacharjee’s writing keeps the story interesting by switching between emotional confessions and personal challenges.

Rangeen Web Series Story

The show, directed by Amardeep Galsin and Amir Rizvi, recounts the story of Adarsh Johri, a dedicated writer whose life is turned upside down when he finds his wife's affair with a male escort.  Instead of reacting in rage or sorrow, Adarsh takes an unexpected turn and becomes a gigolo. What follows is more than simply a revenge story; a deep exploration of identity, masculinity, and emotional recovery.

The film portrays Adarsh’s evolving relationship with his wife Naina, as well as his growing self-awareness through his work as a gigolo. With a backdrop of personal change, the series presents a unique perspective on masculine desire and vulnerability. The series ends in a powerful final episode that provides both emotional closure and a strong message. The subplots are well-integrated, and the pacing is consistent throughout the nine episodes, keeping the audience interested without feeling rushed or dragged.

Rajshri Deshpande adds emotional weight to her role despite having minimal screen time, making her character’s journey meaningful. Taaruk Raina’s performance as Sunny is confident and convincing, and he plays an important role in Adarsh’s development. The supporting cast, which includes Sheeba Chaddha and Smita Bansal, provides strength and balance to the story.
