Saiyaara Review: Marking the Bollywood debut of Ahaan Panday, Saiyaara released in theaters on 18th July. Aneet Padda plays the role of the leading lady in the Mohit Suri directorial. The film reminded audiences of Aashiqui 2, Kabir Singh, and Malang while Panday resembled a fetus Ranveer Singh on screen.
Saiyaara is a musical romance drama film about a rising star Krish Kapoor (Panday) fighting familial issues, nepotism, and enraged with the inequalities of the society. His anger from the world changes when he meets Vaani Batra (Padda), a songwriter. As the two start working together, feelings bloom, and the two walk out of their shadows to lighten each other’s worlds. And just when things start to seem like a happy ending, a tragic illness clouds their relationship. Is love powerful enough?
In the quintessential Mohit Suri style, the director has expressed emotions with songs and sequences, and the audience is charmed by the romance in a nostalgic way.
