A new benchmark has been reached by SBI Card. The business has been operating for 25 years. In order to change the payments environment in India, SBI Card entered the credit card market in 1998. The business had more than one million active cards by 2002. The company's customer-centric strategy has ensured that the cardholder experience with its products improves over time, from EMV chip-based cards and 'SBI Card Pay' to an entirely digital system of card issuance.
SBI Card offers over 60 credit cards to suit the diverse needs of its customers. SBI Card is expected to have an active credit card base of over 16 million by March 2023, driven by emerging markets, changing consumer behaviour, increasing purchasing power, and a strong brand image.
