Sky Force Box Office Collection: Starting 2025 on a good note, Akshay Kumar returned to big screens with his recently released aerial actioner ‘Sky Force’, alongside Veer Pahariya. The movie is loosely based on the Sarghoda Airbase Attack of Pakistan during the Indo-Pak War in 1965. Released on 24 January 2025, the movie has comparatively performed well on its first weekend, despite witnessing a slow growth on the opening day. The movie has crossed the 50-Cr mark in 2 days, and according to critics and audience reviews, it seems that the film is expected to see significant growth on its opening Monday.

Sky Force Monday Box Office Collection

According to early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, Sky Force's India nett collection was Rs 27.5 crore on Sunday, a 25% rise from Rs 22 crore on Saturday. This raises the film's total domestic nett earnings at Rs 61.75 crore. Surprisingly, the Sunday collection is more than 120% higher than the opening day collection of Rs 12.25 crore. On Sunday, the picture had an overall occupancy rating of 42.44 percent in Hindi, with 26.78 percent occupancy during morning shows, 47.22 percent in the afternoon, 56.52 percent in the evening, and 39.24 percent during night shows. Sky Force’s first Sunday earnings have even surpassed those of OMG 2 (Rs 17.55 crore).

Looking at Akshay Kumar’s career graph, the actor has had a difficult time in the film industry, with back-to-back disappointments including Selfiee, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Khel Khel Mein, Ram Setu, and Rakshabandhan. Sky Force has performed better at the box office than Akshay's other recent films. While Bachchhan Paandey only earned Rs 12 crore on its first Sunday, other films such as Samrat Prithviraj (Rs 16.1 crore), Raksha Bandhan (Rs 7.05 crore), Ram Setu (Rs 7.25 crore), Selfiee (Rs 3.95 crore), Mission Raniganj (Rs 5 crore), Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (Rs 9.05 crore), Sarfira (Rs 5.25 crore), and Khel Khel Mein (Rs 3.85 crore) failed to make an impression.
