Stree 2 Box Office Collection: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Stree 2’ is igniting the box office with record-breaking earnings in just three days of its release. The movie has already outshone several Bollywood hits with its whopping numbers and continues to dominate the charts at a rapid pace. Not only in India, the movie is also running fiercely on a global level and is expected to cross Rs 200 Cr worldwide. ‘Stree 2’ is the fifth movie in Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy franchise, and a sequel to the 2018 film ‘Stree’. The story continues where it left in the first part, with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao reprising their roles, along with Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee returning to the screens once again. ‘Stree 2’ also introduces some new faces, with exciting cameos and upbeat dance numbers.

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 3

On Saturday, the film saw a growth of more than 40% and grossed Rs 45.70 Cr, bringing its total India collection to approx Rs 145.80 Cr. On its first day of release, the film earned Rs 55.40 Cr. However on Friday, the movie’s earnings dropped to just Rs 35.30 Cr. The movie made Rs 45.70 Cr on Saturday, breaking the opening records of SRK’s ‘Pathan’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ and successfully crossing the Rs 100 Cr mark.

The movie had 61.96 percent occupancy on Saturday. Given the holiday and weekend, the night shows attracted the audience, but the afternoon and evening shows also recorded housefull. Bengaluru leads the list with highest occupancy, followed by Delhi, Lucknow, Chennai, and Jaipur. 

Stree 2 Cast and Cameos

Directed by Amar Kaushik, ‘Stree 2’ also features Tamannah Bhatia as “Shama” in the movie, with Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan making special appearances as well. Produced under Maddock Films, the movie is a part of Dinesh Vijan’s supernatural universe, with movie like Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya as well. The movie clashed with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and John Abraham starrer ‘Vedaa’, while both the movie are currently lacking back in numbers and struggles to uphold their positions.
