Parliament Monsoon Session: Tejasvi Surya Claims Nehru Opposed Army Modernisation, Supriya Sule Slams Back

Parliament Monsoon Session:  A debate in Operation Sindoor in the Parliament Monsoon session became heated when BJP’s Tejasvi Surya claimed Jawaharlal Nehru was opposed to army modernization and believed ‘the police to do their job’.

Slamming back at Surya, NCP (SP) leader Supriya Sule said, "I object to the statement that he has made...Tejasvi Surya, if you haven't read history, then read it...”

She further stated that he has insulted “thousands and lakhs of Indian forces and armies and their families who have stood so that you and I can be safe.”
