Indian Navy gets Torpedo Weapon

This heavy-weight torpedo, which was produced domestically and is capable of anti-submarine and anti-ship operations, will prove to be a significant step in the fight against China's rising sea might. The Heavy Weight Torpedo is an electrically driven torpedo that can operate against both ships and submarines. The torpedo can move at a speed of more than 70 kilometres per hour and has a maximum strike range of 40 km.
