The Lady Killer:  Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘The Lady Killer’ is notorious for being the biggest flop of Bollywood with a meagre earning of Rs. 60 thousand at the box office on a budget of Rs. 45 crore.

But what went wrong, and why did nobody ever hear of the film at the time of its release?

The Lady Killer, helmed by Ajay Bahl, is a crime thriller. The film shoot began in 2022, but due to many reshoots and delays, the budget of the film became sky-high. On top of that, the film production had a deal with Netflix for an OTT release, but to do so, it was mandatory to release the film in theaters. The first day of the film witnessed only 280 people buying tickets.

The negative response to the film also led Netflix to pull out of the OTT deal. Later, the film was released on YouTube and is said not to have a climax. The comments on the film are not in favour of the plot either.

This is how ‘The Lady Killer’ became the biggest flop of Bollywood.
