Bachpan ka pyaar

Since the time 'bachpan ka pyar' by Sahdev Dirdo has spread like wildfire, netizens have started comparing it with their real 'bachpan ka pyaar' or childhood love.

Real bachpan ka pyaar

Being a mid-90s kid, my bachpan was quite different from the bachpan of today's Generation Z kids. For the 90s kids, the only song that was played on a loop was 'jungle jungle' from Mowgli. But now, it has been replaced with 'bachpan ka pyaar'.

Talking about 'bachpan ka pyaar' (childhood love), Cartoon Network was the one and only love for the 90's kids. But for today's kids, Cartoon Network has been replaced with Instagram Reels and TikTok videos. Gone are the days when we used to wait impatiently for Shaktimaan on Sundays. With passing time, Shaktimaan has been replaced with the Avengers, and I doubt that any of today's kids even know about our forgotten Indian superhero.

Kids nowadays grooving on 'Bachpan ka Pyaar', often make us miss the real bachpan ka pyaar. Sometimes, I feel sad for the Gen-Z kids, they are not even getting the opportunity to interact with their friends face-to-face. Thanks to the Coronavirus, the pandemic has successfully pushed the world behind virtual bars.

In the era of Snapchat and Instagram, let's remember some of the forgotten childhood love. Fasten your seat belts, because we are about to travel back in time!
