Global health security index: India ranked 66th

India ranked 66 out of 195 countries with an overall Index score of 42.8 and along with a change of -0.8 from 2019. The United States of America (USA) ranked 1st on the index with a score of 75.9 followed by Australia and Finland.

Leena Nair: Appointed CEO of Chanel

Leena Nair is an Indian-origin businesswoman, who has been recently appointed as the global CEO of the French fashion brand, Chanel. Before this, she was the first female, youngest ever CHRO of Unilever. She's also a member of the Unilever Leadership Executive.

Kotak Bank: Ashu Suyash appointed as director for 5 years

The board of directors of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited approved the appointment of Ashu Suyash as an independent director for the tenure of five years. Sayush's tenure will start from January 24, 2022, and last till January 23, 2027.

Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday announced the appointment of Faisal Hasnain as its new Chief Executive, who will formally assume charge in January 2022.

Neena Gupta: Won Ramanujan Prize 2021

Neena Gupta is a mathematician and professor at the Indian Statistical Institute in Kolkata. She has been awarded the 2021 Ramanujan Prize for young mathematicians from developing countries. She received the prize for her excellent work in affine algebraic geometry and commutative algebra, in particular for her solution to the Zariski cancellation problem for affine spaces.
