Turkey has experienced the earthquake's strong tremors once more. On Saturday, there was a 5.2-magnitude earthquake in the region of central Turkey. The earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometres, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC). There is, however, no information available on any loss of life or damage following the earthquake.
The death toll has surpassed 45,000 as a result of the recent earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. The number of fatalities is increasing as the rescue effort is in progress. The earthquake in Turkey has destroyed over 2,64,000 apartments. Many of the millions that reside there have died, suffered injuries, or are missing. However, everything has ended and millions of people are now enduring days in bitter cold without even the most basic amenities.
In Turkey and Syria, more than two million homeless people are housed in improvised housing. While relief supplies are already coming and rescue efforts have begun in Turkey's earthquake-affected regions, the situation in Syria is severe. The northwest region of that country has been devastated by the earthquake. Insurgents who control the region are preventing humanitarian supplies from getting reaching the afflicted area.
