UP Sant Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme: Purpose of the scheme, Benefits, Eligibility, Documents required and how to apply

Sant Ravidas Shiksha Sahayata Yojana has been started by the Labor Department of Uttar Pradesh for the children of workers on Labor Day . Under this scheme, scholarships will be provided to the children of labourers. So that he can do his studies without any hindrance. Under this scheme, students from class I to class XII can apply and along with this, students of ITI and Polytechnic can also apply. 

The main objective of Sant Ravidas Education Scheme is that the unemployment rate should come down from the state and the children of labourers will be able to do their studies easily. The people of the labouring family have to face a lot of trouble due to weak economic conditions. In such a situation, the education of their children also remains incomplete. 

Purpose of the scheme

The main objective of Sant Ravidas Shiksha Sahayata Yojana 2022 is to provide financial assistance to the children of workers. So that there is no obstacle in his education and he continued to do his education from school to university. Under this scheme, financial assistance ranging from ₹ 100 to ₹ 5000 will be provided. Through this scheme the unemployment rate will also come down because children of Uttar Pradesh will get employment if they study without any hindrance.

Benefits of the scheme

The benefit of Sant Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme will be provided only to the children of labour families of the state. Under the Sant Ravidas Shiksha Sahayata Yojana, children of labor families will be provided additional assistance ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 5000.Two children of a family can avail the benefit of Sant Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme.

Financial assistance of Rs.8000 and Rs.12000 will be provided for obtaining bachelor's degree in engineering and medical through Sant Ravidas Shiksha Sahayata Yojana. Applicant's age must be 35 years old to apply. The first instalment will be provided as soon as you take admission in the class through Sant Ravidas Shiksha Sahayata Yojana. If a student has failed under the Uttar Pradesh Sant Ravidas Education Scheme, then he will not be provided the benefit of this scheme. In Sant Ravidas Shiksha Sahayata Yojana, only those are eligible for this scheme who are not taking advantage of other government scholarship scheme.

Eligibility of the scheme

• To apply under this scheme, it is mandatory for the applicant to be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.

• Under the Sant Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme, only those students can apply whose parents are registered construction workers with the board.

• The maximum age to apply under this scheme is 25 years.

• The students getting benefits under this scheme should be studying in an institute recognized by the Central or State Government.

• Only two students of a family can apply under this scheme.

How to apply

• First of all you have to go to your nearest labor office or Tehsildar office.

• After that you have to take the application form from there.

• Now you will not have to fill all the information asked in the application form carefully.

• Now you have to submit this application form in Labor Office or Tehsildar Office.

• In this way you will be able to apply.
