UPI Rule Change: If you use UPI apps such as Google Pay, Paytm, or Phone Pe, you should be aware that the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has imposed new restrictions to make UPI faster, safer, and more dependable, which will effect your daily digital payments. Every month, more than 16 billion transactions are completed via UPI in India. However, there are many complaints about server outages or delays. To address these issues, NPCI implemented seven significant adjustments.

New UPI Rules From 1 August

All UPI users can now check bank accounts connected to phone numbers up to 25 times each day. This will alleviate the strain on the financial network. All users will now be limited to moving balances just 50 times each day. UPI users will only be able to check the status of online transactions three times. They must maintain a gap of at least 90 seconds to do this. There will also be a set time restriction for autopay transactions across several platforms.
