Urmila Matondkar Part Ways With Husband Mohsin Mir After 8 Years of Marriage

Urmila Matondkar Divorce:  Actor and Politician Urmila Matondkar is back in the headlines for her decision to part ways with her husband after 8 years of marriage. The two first met in 2014 and exchanged vows in 2018. 

Why is Urmila getting a divorce? 

As per the reports, Urmila Matondkar has singularly filed for divorce from her husband of 8 years, Mohsin Akhtar Mir, a former action model and now an entrepreneur. The two have not issued a statement regarding their news of separation keeping the reason for the alleged separation away from public knowledge. 

Urmila has married Mir, a Kashmiri Muslim in a private ceremony. The news of their union was a subject of controversy later because of its interfaith nature and an age gap of 10 years between the two. Mir is younger than Urmila. The two first met at designer Manish Malhotra’s wedding. The two tied the knot on 3 March 2016 in a hush-hush ceremony.
