V12 naturally-aspirated Lambo introduced in India, first internal combustion engine ever produced by the firm

The Lamborghini V12 refers to the flagship V12 engine used by Lamborghini. Lamborghini has had two generations of V12 engines through their history, both of which were developed in-house. The first-generation Lamborghini V12 was a sixty degree (60°) V12 petrol engine designed by Lamborghini, and was the first internal combustion engine ever produced by the firm. 

Last V12 Engine Lamborghini in India

Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has delivered its first Aventador Ultimae Roadster to a customer from India. The Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Roadster delivered today is one of just 250 units of the topless supercar. The Aventador Ultimae also marks the last time that Lamborghini will bring out a production series powered solely by a naturally aspirated V12 engine.

The Ultimae is offered in both coupe and roadster guises. The coupe is limited to just 350 units worldwide, while the roadster version of the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae is even rarer, with only 250 units offered to customers around the world.

Specifications of the car

This Ultimae Roadster gets the 6.5-litre, V12 naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox. It produces 769bhp and 720Nm of torque. The sports car can achieve zero to 100kmph in just 2.8 seconds, while zero to 200kmph takes 8.9 seconds. The sports car has a top speed of 355kmph.

A few highlights of the 2022 Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae include a new front bumper, a staggered wheel setup with 21-inch and 22-inch units at the front and rear, respectively, as well as carbon-ceramic brakes. It will have 18 colour options as standard, rising to north of 300 under the Ad Personam program. The model, which made its debut at the 2021 GoodWood Festival of Speed, will be the brand’s last naturally aspirated V12 model before the shift to electrification begins.
