Vanvaas Cast Interview: Nana Patekar Critics Glamourised Violence His Mass Action Films

Vanvaas:  The cast of the film ‘Vanvaas’, Nana Patekar, Utkarsh Sharma, and Simrat Kaur get into an exclusive interview with Jagran English, sharing their experience of working in an emotional family drama film.  

Patekar unveiled his motivation for working in this project highlighting how many major films today are glamourising unrequited violence in the name of entertainment. Something that he has been bored of, and does not enjoy. 

Vanvaas is a story of belonging, and connection, that people in the real world are now forgetting. This movie allows him to shed light on several social phenomena which are actually isolating. 

Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur talk about their learning from Patekar, and how he has influenced them as actor and person.
