Varun Sood Personal Life and Education

Born on 1 April’95 in Kolkata, Varunis son of Vineet Sood a retired Brigadier and Anjali Sood a jewelry designer. He completed his schooling at Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan and did his B.Com Honors from Sri Venkateswara College, DU. He had been a former national-level basketball player. Like his father and grandfather who both served in the Indian Army, Varun was supposed to join the Indian Army. But chose to make his career in the Entertainment industry.

Varun entered the glamour world with MTV Roadies X2 in 2015 and then in 2016 the same year became runner-up in MTV Splitsvilla 9. He then went on to host NBA Slam, MTV Campus Diaries, UCypher. He played the role of Dalijeet Brar on MTV Big F. In 2018 he competed in Box Cricket League 3, Big Boss 12 and MTV Ace of Space 1. In the same year he also portrayed himself in MTV Troll Police. In 2019, he came on NBA Saturday Morning Live, hosted Roadies: Real Heroes and as a contestant participated in Dance Ki Takkar 8. He also became one of the finalists in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 in 2021.
