Volkswagen Plan Electric Future! Watch this Exclusive Interview with Ashish Gupta
German Car Brand, Volkswagen has planned to onboard more eclectic vehicles by 2026. The world’s second-largest automaker is currently visualizing its future in the electric car market and if reports are to be believed it plans on going all-electric by the year 2035. Over the following five years, the business claimed it would invest $193 billion in electrification.
The investments come as Volkswagen, the largest automaker in Europe, works to increase its share of the rising market for battery-powered vehicles in order to catch up to Tesla, the inventor of the electric vehicle (EV).
Not just Volkswagen but other automakers have declared their intent to switch entirely to electric vehicles. Similar pledges have been made by Volvo, Ford, and General Motors. And that’s why the German car manufacturer has pledged to introduce 10 new Electric Vehicles by the year 2025. Volkswagen is making a significant wager on the future of the car industry by investing in electrification.
